What an extraordinary time to be alive! The planet is literally pulsing with potential despite the seemingly insurmountable challenges facing us. Take a moment to turn off your mind and tune in to your instincts and feel the promise… feel the vibration of life and how your own heart beats in concert with the rhythm of the universe.
Welcome to Sun enters Taurus the sign of our senses, our values, our resources, the material world, and our physical bodies. Welcome to the alchemy of change that begins in Taurus as we ground ourselves in our bodies, in our environment, and take up the task of learning to manifest.
Sun in Taurus is the time in the Solar Year when we cherish ourselves and our Good Earth. Sun enters Taurus is the time when we protect and nurture all that is new, most especially the new that can only be born though each of us. Each one of us is a light in the darkness of these evolutionary times. Each one of us has something to offer the emerging Age of The Collective United. We are the builders, we are the makers, we are the producers. We are already part of the brave new world that is unfolding around us. The challenge, or rather the invitation now, is to heed the call and figure out how to consciously put all this new energy to constructive use.
Slow, steady, PRODUCTIVE Taurus inspires us to be useful. Taurus is the reaction to the outward energy of action demonstrated by the initiating sprout of Aries: Aries is motion; Taurus is emotion. Taurus provides stability, security, sustenance so that the upward push for growth and consciousness continues and is supported.
As the Sun Enters Taurus we are still in the energetic spring “seeding” time of the annual Solar Cycle. This is why we feel the resistance represented by the earth sign Taurus as it teaches us that growth is not linear, it is organic, cyclical. During this phase of our development, it is critical to slow down and nourish. Taurus is about tilling the soil of our consciousness and our future as we continue to midwife ourselves and the world into new being. It is literally and figurately time to clear away the dead leaves of last year so that the new life already abundantly pushing through the earth has space to mature. As ruler of our voice, Taurus says, “It is time to cultivate our purpose, time to manifest our unique expression, there is plenty of compost, let’s get to work!”
