My name is Lisa Karmen and I am thrilled to share my unique approach to Astrology with you! Since 1980, through many ups and downs, upheavals and reinventions, failures and successes Astrology has been and continues to be my constant companion and guide. I have experienced the symbolism and language of Astrology as providing comfort, direction, and confirmation throughout my life, As a practicing Astrologer since 1994, I have consistently seen the same for my clients.
I have a lifelong interest in alternative healing modalities and actively continue to deepen my knowledge. In 2004, I successfully completed a 10-month intensive training program in Green Medicine at the NY Open Center. In January 2016, I earned the credentials to practice the ancient Japanese energy healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu. I am a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and hold a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a focus in Psychology Mythology, and Ceramic Art. I also spent one year at Syracuse University, Newhouse School of Communications. After college, I pursued acting for several years performing in television & radio commercials, industrial films, and soap operas. As well as being an Astrologer, I am also a Ceramic Artist with a studio in Duchess County, NY. And, in true Capricorn fashion, for the past twenty years I have pursued a corporate career and am currently the Head of Human Resources for a financial services firm in NYC. |
